bio | Chương-Đài Võ is a Researcher at Asia Art Archive. Her research and curatorial interests include genealogies of the modern and the contemporary; the intertwining of "craft" and "art"; and practices that are ephemeral, multidisciplinary, and collaborative. Her writing can be found in Afterall Journal, Sismographie des luttes (forthcoming from Institut national d’histoire de l’art), Southern Constellations: The Poetics of the Non-Aligned, Taipei Fine Arts Museum’s Modern Quarterly, Film in Contemporary Southeast Asia, and Journal of Vietnamese Studies. She was a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2010-2012) and a Chercheuse Invitée at Institut national d’histoire de l’art (2019). She is researching the construction of multiple modernisms in Vietnam, 1925-1975.
